Absolute Simplicity
In developing Transwiz - User Profile Transfer Wizard - we want to create a method of transferring user profile data and settings between computers that is as simple as it is powerful.
Transwiz will pack your existing personal data and settings into a standard zip archive for easy transfer to another computer. The Wizard will then unpack the archive on the new computer and restore your user profile - automatically reconfiguring the profile as necessary for the new Operating System. The Wizard will also rename the new computer and join it to your domain as required.
Transwiz can transfer profile data from and to machines running Windows XP, Windows Vista
and Windows 7. You can use the same archive file to transfer your user profile to and from 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows.
A good thing in a small package
With Transwiz you don't have to worry about installing megabytes of software on your machines. Transwiz is a single self-contained executable file. This means it can be copied to any convenient location, such as a USB memory flash drive (memory stick or pen drive), a network share, a CD or even a floppy disk.
Corporate and Professional Editions
Transwiz comes in two editions.
The Corporate Edition is for customers who need to automate the transfer of user profile data between different machines. It is licensed per workstation.
The Professional Edition is for customers who want the additional features of the Corporate Edition but who do not need to automate the transfer of data. The Professional Edition is licensed per technician.
